Square pianoforte

A mid eighteenth century George III early square piano housed in a rectangular wooden box structure with the lid at the front lifting to reveal the keyboard. The top cover lifts to reveal soundboard, mechanism and strings within. Made by Freidrich / Frederick Beck and inscribed 'Fredericus Beck, Londini, fecit 1769'.
