Drum

The town drum of Greenock decorated with the Greenock coat of arms on the side of the drum. The body of the drum is wooden with iron nails along edge of the lap and a pattern of metal studs over the overlapped area. The drum is painted red with gold circle rimmed with black and lettered 'The Town of Greenock' within circle is town coat of arms. There are 10 linking suspenders with buffs. Signed 'James Kitchen' in ink on the rim of the lower skin.
