Amulet (omamori) in the form of a small pouch (with contents), made with brocaded silk with motifs of pink flowers and white leaves on a grey background. The word 'me' in hiragana (the word for eyes) is in white thread on the front and on the back in orange thread are the characters for the temple, Chuson-ji, and the shrine dedicated to Yakushi Nyorai. The pouch is closed with a knot made of white silk cord. A metal ring is clipped to the top of the amulet and on which hang a white plaited cord (used to attach the amulet in use), and a golden bell.
