kaval
Open-ended flute ('kaval'), made of turned and carved wood in three sections, with cylindrical rings of horn passed over the wood at top, base and at two joins, metal (aluminium ?) bands at intervals and incised horizontal rings. The wider section is the upper section with incurving mouthpiece, blown from the side, the middle section has seven holes, and the lower section has two holes at front and two holes at top either side. .
