Square pianoforte

Pianoforte; made by John Longman of Cheapside, London; rectangular body, some simple marquetry inlay; 2 small drawers, 1 large 'dummy' drawer with 2 knobs; keys very worn, 1 missing ivory veneer; 2 small panels of red textile openwork above keyboard. Four turned legs on castors; copper alloy rosette decoration; quite battered, two (?) legs and some fittings missing; lockable lid, stained & damaged on top.
