Spout-and-bridge whistling bottle; tapering spout and flat base. Chamber portrays deer in act of giving birth with young emerging at rear; painted patterning of red parallel lines; dark brown scrolls and cross-hatching. Two vertical mould sets used - one for chamber and other for deer head; bridge added incorporating modelled whistle. Rough surface. Orange-fired fabric covered in cream pigment with red and dark brown designs.
