whistle
Double-chambered whistling bottle with globular flat-based chambers, tall spout with flat rim and narrow flat upper bridge. A macaw sits atop one spout, characteristic concentric rings around eyes; hole just beneath beak for whistle. The bridge features a zig-zag design with holes pierced at intervals. Vertical mould seams but well-smoothed; probably single mould-set used since no obvious joins at spout bases or between chambers. Looks as if whistling mechanism might be concealed just beneath bird - slightly lumpy here. Polished surface, including base. Even black colour.
