Wood drum with nine triangular projections around the waist serving as a cleats for the coir cords which secure the fish-skin drumhead or tympanum. The chamber and six legs have chevron engraving, with a faint horizontal black/red dyed sequence. A rough hole is cut between the chamber and the base.
