Lamellaphone
Musical instrument made of an elliptical strip of bamboo cut down the middle to leave two outer large tines with a smaller, pointed one in between them. The two outer tines are tied together. The other end is pierced and has a piece of string through the hole. Roughly edged pattern of sloping lines incised on the outer side of the bamboo.
