Wooden drum with open mouth decorated with cassowary feathers and strips of red and cream coloured European textile. The waist has a band of red pigment. A plaited fibre cord is tied around it. The membrane is of reptile(?) skin and has there are lumps of wax adhered to it. The relief carvings includes two male figures wearing feather head-dresses.
