Salterio, spanish psaltery

body: trapeze-shaped, with 2 soundholes; belly: pine, with moulded gilt edge and ebony nuts; 2 bridges of gilded rosewood pierced with holes; 26 courses of strings, 7 of 5 strings each, then alternately of 6 and 5, attached to metal pins on lh side, to wrest-pins on rh side, so that each course passes through a hole in one bridge and over the top of the other; 2 roses in parchment; length 948 / 421, width 340, depth 83
