Technical description: Ivory; 6 sections, mouthpiece screws into short barrel, bell screws into short foot, and bottom of foot screws on; wooden block; 7 finger-holes plus thumb-hole; undercut tone-holes. See also ivory flute (18)(Vol. 2, Part D, Fascicle ii, p.59), made from 10 sections screwed together in a similar way to this recorder.
