Technical description: The round, concave, light-coloured pernambuco stick has a leather grip, a rounded channel carved into the stick for the frog to slide along, and ends in a modern head with an ivory headface and ebony headface lining. The screw-mechanism, squared, ebony frog has a mother-of-pearl slide, mother-of-pearl decorative eyes, and a nickel underslide, ferrule, and one-piece heel and backplate. The bottom edges of the frog and ferrule are rounded. The ferrule does not have a ferrule wedge.
