Technical description: Cocus wood with ivory ferrules and german silver keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, socket type], barrel, upper section, lower section, bell. Barrel bulbous with tenon and one ivory ferrule. Upper section with blocks and saddles for throatA♭ and F₄/C₆. Speaker liner projects almost to the middle bore. Wooden tuning slide. Lower section with blocks and saddles for side B♮₃/F♯₅. Levers for L4, tone-hole and key for R4 mounted in a bell-shaped swelling extending half-way round body. 12 key system with alternative F♯ key for R2. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throatA♮. L2: T; throatA♭. L3: T; E♭₄/B♭₅. L4: C♯₄/G♯₅; E₃/B♮₄; zig-zag F♯₃/C♯₅. R1: T; side F₄/C₆; side trill key for throatA-B♮. R2: T; alternative B♮₃/F♯₅. R3: T; B♭₃/F♮₅; side B♮₃/F♯₅. R4: T; G♯₃/E♭₅. Keymount type: blocks, saddles, and swelling. Keyhead type: flat round. Repair History: Barrel and top of instrument bored out and wooden liner fitted.
