Koenig horn. Nominal pitch: F etc.
Technical description: Silver-plated brass. Circular wrap, bell directed downwards, similar to a tenor cor; terminal shank or crook required. With looped tuning-slide for E♭ and D♭. The section of tubing containing the tuning-slide has a false loop completing the circular corpus for strength and appearance. With water-key, no music card-holder.With non-original shank of overall length 19.0 and minimum bore (at distal end) 10.1. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top-sprung with spring outside stem. Unusual alignment by continuous vertical key extending along length of stem, engaging with slotted ring inside casing. Metal partitions. Repair History: Two of the valve touchpieces are replacements (not matching screw thread or style). The small shank with the instrument is a shorter replacement for the original shank(s) and terminal crooks.
