26-inch gong drum.
Technical description: Single headed bass drum; calf head; wooden shell and hoops; 8 rod tensioners. The construction would seem to indicate that an alternative model with two heads might have been made, having many components in common with this single-headed model. Repair History: Shell has been drilled with a hole for fixture of some attachment.
