Technical description: Boxwood with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. Five pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, lower section, bell.Mouthpiece: blackwood, grooved for cord with 11grooves. Long table, long tenon; overall size: 77.6, without tenon: 47.4, aperture 27mm.Barrel made for a long tenon, waisted, with two flat ivory ferrules. Upper section: short speaker key and short A♮ key; speaker liner projects almost to the centre of bore.Lower section: wide ivory ferrule, no thumbrest. Levers for L4, tone-hole and key for R4 mounted in a bell-shaped swelling.Leaf springs. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throatA♮. L2: T. L3: T. L4: E₃/B♮₄; zig-zag F♯₃/C♯₅. R1: T; trill key for throatA-B♮.
