Bass valve trombone. Nominal pitch: G.
Technical description: Brass; compact layout; looped m.t.s. and 1st and 3rd v.t.s. No water-key. Valve type: 3 Köhler patent lever valves (Köhler's modification of Shaw's disk valves); watch springs in drums on valve axles. Valves actuated by finger slides in tubes in plane of each disk, attached to spring drum by pivot. Bronze inner disks.
