Technical description: Cocus; 3 sections (body in one piece); german silver keys; 5 german silver ferrules; tuning-slide; [screw-stopper]; head not lined; large oval embouchure-hole cut obliquely; large L2, R1, R2 finger-holes; G♯ key-hole on nearside, C keyshank arched to pass over it; modern-style foot mechanism arrangement, with roller for low C; tenons metal-tipped; lower tenon cork-lapped. Keymount type: rod/pillar; leaf springs except for foot mechanism (needle). Keyhead type: cylinder cup.
