Alto horn. Nominal pitch: F / E♭.
Technical description: Brass, lacquered. Detachable bell. In F with extension to tuning-slide to put instrument in E♭, overall lengths of the two legs 156, 167. Bell angled upwards and forwards with swivel adjustment of horizontal direction. Music card-holder fitting. Ring for R.H. thumb. Water-key on main tuning-slide. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, bottom-sprung; alignment by key on piston.
