Technical description: Soundboard of spruce; Back, ribs head and neck, endpin of sycamore; fingerboard, tailpiece and tail-gut protector of ebony; pegs of boxwood. Golden varnish. Soundboard grain of variable width - closer in centre, wider at edges. Painted purfling. Darker colour and some damage where the chin rests against the soundboard. Arch of soundboard 14mm. Lower bouts covered by a single rib. Good deep figure on the two piece back, figure up towards the top in the centre, down at the edges. Some damage on the back where the shoulder has rubbed against the body of the instrument. Back arch 14.5mm. Head and neck of good quality wood like the back. Neck length 124; fingerboard length 247, width at nut 22.7, at bottom 40.2.
