Violin.
Technical description: Soundboard of spruce; back, ribs head and neck of sycamore; fingerboard and endpin of stained fruitwood; tailpiece and nut of bone; tail-gut protector, pegs of ivorine. The soundboard is wide grained and well bookmatched. Soundboard arch 15.5mm. Golden red varnish, the red appears to be fugitive. Ebony/sycamore/ebony purfling. Two piece back, 13mm arch, very light figure rising towards the centre, down at the edges. Neck length 129; fingerboard length 270, 20.6 wide at nut, 42.1 wide at the bottom.
