Cornet. Nominal pitch: B♭ etc.
Technical description: Brass. Two main tuning-slides. Leadpipe enters 3rd valve casing at the front; 3rd valve loop leaves from left and returns to front; bellpipe exits 1st valve casing at the left. No water-key. With shank for A only. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top-sprung with spring outside valve stem; alignment by key on piston. Repair History: The shank for A is a replacement.
