Technical description: Small size (child's) guitar. Soundboard of bookmatched spruce. Soundhole 73mm diameter. Purfling around the soundhole of mother-of-pearl and ebony, consisting of interlocking triangles (mother-of-pearl pointing inwards), then ebony/maple/ebony thin bands, then mother-of-pearl and ebony alternating 9-piece squares and 3-piece rectangular strips, with ebony/maple/ebony thin strips outside. Bridge of rosewood, rectangular in section with raised part acting as saddle. Main part 91mm long and 26mm wide. Rosewood teardrop shaped bridge ends with dot finial, both topped with mother-of-pearl. Edging around the guitar of mother-of-pearl and ebony triangles (mother-of-pearl pointing outward), then thin ebony and maple lines, a thicker ebony line, then thin maple and ebony lines. Back and sides of rosewood, the back in one piece. Tapered piece at the bottom of the guitar with ebony endpin attached. Heel, neck and the back and front of the head are veneered in rosewood. The head is of mahogany. Heel and neck meet in a sharp point, Vjoint between the head and neck. Brass machine heads with ivory buttons and rollers. Nut of ebony, fingerboard of rosewood. Neck width 40.0mm at nut, 55.7mm at body join. 17frets in total. Mother-of-pearl positioning dots on the bass side of the neck at frets 5, 7, and 9. Repair History: Crack in tuning head glued at some time.
