Technical description: Silver-plated brass. Rotary quick-change valve for B♭ to A. Longer main tuning-slide than on (881). Valve type: 3 Périnet valves; 'New Valve Action' (top sprung; springs extend when valves operated). Repair History: Broken mouthpipe sleeved, 1984; 2nd valve tuning-slide patched.
