Tenor trombone. Nominal pitch: B♭.
Technical description: Silver-plated brass; plated inner slides. The inner slide stay of two parallel adjacent tubes. Slide lock; ligature fitting at joint. Two rings on each stocking (for oil?). Probably originally supplied with alternative tuning-slides for high and low pitch.
