Cornet. Nominal pitch: B♭.
Technical description: Silver-plated brass, light-weight model with thin bell bead. Leadpipe enters 3rd valve casing at the right; 3rd valve loop leaves from 15° right of front and returns to 15° right of front; 1st valve loop leaves from right and returns to back; bellpipe exits 1st valve casing at 15° left of back. With single water-key. With shank for B♭. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top-sprung with spring outside stem; alignment by key on piston. Repair History: Valve pistons copper-plated.
