With crooks (a) quarter coil for E♭, (b) one and three-quarter coils for D♭; identical style and details of ferrules. L1: 3-semitone valve. R1: 2-semitone valve. R2: 1-semitone valve. Valve type: 3 Stölzel valves with spring inside hollow stem; alignment by guide pin screwed through casing and slot in stem, this pin also locating fixed end of spring. Repair History: Inner slide of crook (a) does not fit instrument and appears to be a replacement.
