Valved horn. Nominal pitch: 12-ft F.
Technical description: Unusual transitional model; fixed mouthpipe. Yellow brass with german silver ferrules and bell garland. Valve loops sweep through 90° with tuning-slides pointing upwards towards player. Very small gusset in bell; garland width 32. Valve type: 3 rotary valves, small, closely-spaced; slender touchpieces and linkages to upper screw at rotors. Repair History: Restored prior to acquisition; old ferrules preserved.
