English slide Trumpet. Nominal pitch: F etc.
Technical description: The tubing of gilding metal or red brass with silver ferrules, stay mounts and ball. Three-part ball with groove. Helical slide return spring in central sliding tube. Repair History: The curved bit, of yellow brass, probably a replacement or later addition. Small strip patched repair of bell tube adjacent to ball.
