Technical description: Very dark brown varnish. Soundboard of spruce, flame type sound-hole, purfling consists of thin inked lines, now largely hidden under varnish. 9 strings, arranged (bass to treble) 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 2. Soundboard and back protrude past the ribs by c3mm. Soundboard arch 12.5mm. Ribs of medium flame, lower bout has single rib. One piece back, 13mm arch, fairly horizontal figure, slightly down on the treble side, up on the bass side. Neck and head of unvarnished sycamore. Soundboard generally fairly close grain. One piece, except in the lower bout on the treble side.The neck length is 152; fingerboard length 236, width at the nut 30.8, at the bottom 52.0.
