Double horn. Nominal pitch: F+B♭.
Technical description: Full double, stands in F, 4th valve gives B♭. Silver-plated brass, heavy; seamed to end of bell segment; spun bell, no garland; angle between axis of mouthpipe and axis of bell 135°. Valve type: 1 rotary valve with the six ports in two planes; 3 Périnet valves, bottom sprung, alignment by key on piston and groove in casing bore. Repair History: Mouthpipe sheath a repair.
