Technical description: Brass with german silver trim. Leadpipe enters 3rd valve casing at the front; 3rd valve loop leaves from left and returns to front; bellpipe exits 1st valve casing at the left. With double water-key with single touchpiece. With (a) tuning bit, shanks for (b) B♭ and (c) A, and crooks for (d) A♭ and (e) G. Mouthpiece receiver details on crooks etc.: bit (a): german silver ferrule, two lugs with ball ends; shank (b): brass ferrule, two lugs with flattened ends; shank (c): brass ferrule, two lugs with ball ends; crook (d): german silver ring matching shank/crook receiver; crook (e): german silver ring matching shank/crook receiver. Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top sprung with spring inside hollow stem; alignment by 3 unequal lugs on spring plate.
