Double-belled euphonium. Nominal pitch: B♭.
Technical description: Silver-plated brass. Both large and small bells detachable and rotatable with ligature fixing, angled at nearly 90° from upwards. Water-keys on 3rd valve tuning-slide, main tubing at outlet of 4th valve, and both main tuning-slides. Complete with music card holder. 2 loops for sling. Valve type: 4 Périnet valves, 5th valve Périnet-type; bottom sprung, with ports flattened to reduce required travel; alignment by slot at top of piston engaging round pin fixed on inner cap, this cap being aligned by a key on rim of cap fitting into a slot at top of casing bore.
