Clarinet. Nominal pitch: B♭.
Technical description: Boxwood with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. Six pieces: mouthpiece, barrel, upper section, middle section for the fingers of the right hand, lower section with keys, bell. Barrel highly waisted, with two ivory ferrules. Upper section: Straight speaker, speaker liner projects almost into the centre of bore. Middle section: wide ivory ferrule instead of thumbrest. Lower section: Levers for L4, tone-hole and key for R4 mounted in a bell-shaped swelling. Bell discontinuous with an ivory rim. All keys with leaf springs. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throatA♮. L2: T. L3: T. L4: E₃/B♮₄; zig-zag F♯₃/C♯₅. R1: T; trill key for throatA-B♮. R2: T. R3: T. R4: T; G♯₃/E♭₅. Keymount type: blocks and swelling, Keyhead type: flat square Repair History: Considering the fact that the bell is unstamped and obviously cleaned from an older stain it may not be original, because it seems to have cracked by pushing a tenon which was to big into the socket.
