Bell-forward baritone. Nominal pitch: 8-ftC.
Technical description: Brass with german silver trim; main tuning-slide has fixed inner slide legs, moving outer; fitting for music card holder. Valve type: 3 rotary valves, buffers on rotor arms. Repair History: Some ferrules appear to be recent replacements, and joints and patches have been extensively touched up with soft solder. Although the result is hardly aesthetic, it has the air of being a faithful restoration to original playing condition.
