Technical description: Cocus wood with german silver crook, ferrules, keywork, and bell. Five pieces: mouthpiece, crook, upper section, lower section, upturned bell. Original named ebonite mouthpiece. Thumb-hole covered. Two speaker keys, the one on top of the upper section with a small chimney is used to overblow. The other one covers a tone-hole below and is used for throat B♭ with the the throat Akey depressed. Brille on upper section with vents above L1 and below L2, all other tone-holes covered. Shaped thimb rest. Sling ring. Vent hole on bottom of lower section. 14keys, 2rings, 5covered tone-holes, 4black rollers. L0: Plate; speaker 1+2. L1: T + ring; throat A♮; throat A♭. L2: T + ring. L3: Plate; E♭₄/B♭₅. L4: C♯₄/G♯₅; E₃/B♮₄; F♯₃/C♯₅. R1: Plate; side F₄/ C₆; side E♭₄/B♭₅; side trill key for throat A-B♮ and B♭-C. R2: Plate. R3: Plate; cross B♭₃/F♮₅. R4: F₃/C₅; G♯₃/E♭₅. Keymount type: screwed in pillars with push pins. Keyhead type: modern.
