Clarinet with pièces de rechange. Nominal pitch: C/B.

Technical description: Boxwood with ivory ferrules and brass keywork. Nine pieces: mouthpiece, 2barrels (C/B), 2upper sections (C/B), 2middle sections for the fingers of the right hand (C/B), lower section with keys, bell. Original stamped ebony mouthpiece. Turned guide lines in upper rings. Levers for L4, tone-hole and key for R4 mounted in a fusiform swelling. Extendable L4 levers. Cclarinet originally 5, now 6keys. Clarinet stamped "E" is B♮. L0: T; speaker. L1: T; throat A♮. L2: T. L3: T. (C♯₄/G♯₅), L4: E₃/B♮₄; F♯₃/C♯₅. R1: T. R2: T. R3: T. R4: T; G♯₃/E♭₅. Keymount type: Turned wooden rings, swelling. The C uses a saddle for C♯₄/G♯₅. Keyhead type: Flat square. Repair History: The sixth key on the Cclarinet is C♯₄/G♯₅ and presumably a later addition.
