Technical description: Mid-brown wood, varnished; 2 sections; ivory-bushed thumb-hole; wooden block; broad flat windway; 7 finger-holes plus thumb-hole; large finger-holes for R2, R3 and R4; cork-lapped tenon with additional twine lapping; very small vent-hole pierced in back of instrument, 23mm above base of foot.
