Two-toned cocus with ivory, bone, and horn ferrules, with ivory tops and sole; sheepskin bag and plastic mouthpiece. Blowpipe and drones are turned with beading and combing decoration. The ebony and ivory chanter, not original to the instrument, was found with parts of an identical set in the previous owner's collection. Chanter: Seven finger-holes and one thumb-hole. Matching cording.Measurements: chanter length 375, conical bore beginning at 4.2 and ending at 20.5; bass drone length c640, bore at top 15.8; tenor drones length c320, bore at top 14.8. Repair History: The ebony chanter and the missing half of the original sole were repaired by Mark Cushing in 2006, slightly thinning the original half of the sole. The blowpipe mouthpiece is a replacement. The ivory ferrule on the bass drone top section is probably a replacement as the colour and decoration is different. The alternative use of horn ferrules for the stocks is consistent with other sets from the same maker.
