Double flageolet
Boxwood, in five joints, plus modern reconstruction mouthpiece (1993), consisting of two chanters of equal length set in a common stock, surmounted by a two-piece windcap. Six ivory mounts and ten studs. Five square silver keys and two longer silver cut-off keys on the stock. The left-hand chanter has two keys and the right-hand chanter three. The finger holes and keys have their pitches stamped beside them. Pitch of the instrument: D.
