Dulcimer

Trapezium-shaped soundbox with hinged lid. Lid, frame, wrestplank and hitchplank all of mahogany. Two replacement bridges of black-stained mahogany topped with brass wire, each with seven circles cut into them, carrying 17 triple courses of replacement wire strings (1993). Soundboard of cedar with two gilt-paper roses in the form of stylised flowerheads. Four rectangular wooden feet on the base.
