Integral (false inner/outer) case. Painted softwood [?] faced on the interior with cypress. Compass: C/E–f''', short octave. 3-octave span: 503. Disposition: One keyboard, two 8's. No hand stops or pedals. Keyboard may once have been movable, in order to engage or disengage the jacks for the second set of strings for purposes of tuning and/or to allow a dynamic contrast between one 8' and two 8's. Stringing: Two sets of 8' strings. Lowest jack faces away from the player.
