French horn.
Technical description: Brass with german silver ferrule, stay plates, and valve parts; French bell rim; single large gusset in bell. The three valves in triangular (Kreuzventilen) formation with the four ports of each valve at 90°. Brass ring for L0 and german silver hook for L5. With fitting for music-card holder.; Type or system: 3 valves. Valve type: 3 rotary valves, drum springs with ratchet-and-paul tension adjustment; cork buffers mounted on valve caps.
