Technical description: Brass with german silver slides, stays, and valve components. French bell rim.Spun bell with circumferential seam. Windway runs either mouthpiece receiver - main tuning-slide - 4 - 1 - 2 - 2 - B♭ side auxiliary tuning-slide - 4 - bell, or, mouthpiece receiver - main tuning-slide - 4 - F side auxiliary tuning-slide - 3 - 2 - 1 - 4 - bell. With ring for L4.; Nominal pitch: F|+|B♭.; Type or system: Full double. Valve type: 4 string-action rotary valves, 3 of them double; coiled springs on spindles.
