Technical description: Silver-plated brass, 'shepherd's crook' bellpipe; French bell rim. Main tuning-slide with quick-change valve for C to B♭ switch. Auxiliary tuning-slide to provide alternative for use at low pitch ('piano slide'). With shank for C and B♭.With water-key and fitting for music-card holder.; Valve type: 3 Périnet valves, top-sprung, alignment by key on piston. Nominal pitch: C|.|B♭.; Usable pitch: Probably built for use at circa A₄=|460|Hz with provision for use at lower pitches.
