Technical description: Silver-plated brass; single main tuning-slide with tenon at exit from 1st valve; with alternative detachable bells for E and E? attached by a bar fixed to the valve cluster engaging with a trough on each bell; two screw-down restraints on each bell, at tuning-slide and at trough. With 1st and 3rd valve tuning-slides moveable by a U-shaped thumb-rest (1st) and by a finger-ring (3rd); screw restraint on 3rd valve tuning-slide. With finger-hook for R4 and water-key on 3rd valve tuning-slide.; Nominal pitch: E|/|E?.; Type or system: 3 valves, interchangeable bell.; ; ; ; Usable pitch: Probably built for use at A?=|440|Hz.;
