Technical description: Brass; French bell rim. Straight windway from mouthpiece receiver through the valves, the connecting piece, and the bell. Two joints with ligature restraint; the first section (with the valves) ends in a socket; the connecting piece starts with a tenon and ends in a socket; the bell starts with a tenon. There is a hook for R0 attached to the 1st valve and a ring for R4 attached to the 3rd valve tuning-slide.; Nominal pitch: 3½-ft D.; ; ; ; ; Usable pitch: Probably built for use at circa A?=|440|Hz.;
