Technical description: Silver-plated brass. Conical bore, windway runs mouthpipe - 2 - 1 - 3 - main tuning-slide - bell. main tuning-slide acts as shunt for A and is connected to a rod threaded at both ends with a nut on each thread which limits travel when pulled against a fixed ring; the nuts with cork buffers.
