Technical description: Silver-plated brass; with garland; forwards-pulling main tuning-slide in loop between valves and bell. A patch on the inside of the large bow appears to be original. With fitting for music-card holder; water-key. With (474a) crook for F, (474b) crook for E with ferrule-covered joint, (474c) crook for E? with ferrule-covered joint, (474d) crook for D, (474e) crook for C.; Nominal pitch: F etc.; ; ; ; ; Usable pitch: Probably built for use at circa A?=|460|Hz.;
